Giants win over the Cowboys 28-24.
They break an eight game losing streak.
Giants finish the season at 6-10.
Eli Manning was 18-of-27 for 144 yards, 3 touchdowns and 1 interception.
Tiki Barber had 24 carries for 95 yards and 1 touchdown.
David Tyree had 7 catches for 71 yards and 1 touchdown.
Tiki Barber and Visanthe Shiancoe both caught touchdown passes.
A sack and forced fumble by Osi Umenyiora set up Manning's 3rd TD pass.
Game Notes:
"Wow, what a game! If you were one of the few Giants fans who made it to the stadium, you were rewarded with a great finish that you will treasure for a long time to come. Sure you had
to put up with those annoying Cowboy fans who cheered at all the wrong times, but you got the last laugh in the fourth quarter, and that's when it counted.
With only 16 seconds left to play, Eli Manning changed the play at Dallas 3 yard line and handed the ball off to Tiki Barber with barely enough time time to try such a risky running play.
It paid off bigtime. With not nearly enough time to recover with a fieldgoal if it didn't work, Tiki Barber scrambled into the endzone to put the Giants ahead 28-24 after the extra point.
Dallas had time for only one incomplete pass after the kickoff, and that was it.
All the Cowboy fans who decided to invade the stadium, got to see that even in the worst of years, the Giants could still sweep their favorite team."
Game Notes:
"It was a long time coming and didn't come anywhere close to putting the Giants into the playoffs, but the sixth win of the season certainly felt good. I'm sure it provided much more satisfaction
to Tiki Barber in breaking his records, and this come from behind win gave a team of players and their fans, who never quit through all the bad times, something to feel really good about for
a change.
The Giants, who could have ended up anywhere from from second place to last place in the NFC East standings with a win or a loss, placed 2nd thanks to their efforts."

Notes:
Giants snapped an eight-game losing streak.
Tiki Barber became the New York Giants' all-time leading rusher.
Tiki Barber finished the season with 1,518 yards rushing, beating Morris's mark in 1986.
Tiki Barber has 6,926 career yards, breaking the franchise mark of 6,897 set by Hampton.
Eli Manning got his first career victory.
Giants DT Damane Duckett made his NFL debut and got a sack on his first series.
David Tyree started in place of Toomer, and Marcellus Rivers started in place of Shockey.
Visanthe Shiancoe caught his first touchdown of the season and the 8th for Giants tight ends.
Giants safety Curry Burns intercepted a pass at the goal line that was thrown by receiver Patrick Crayton on a gimmick play by Dallas.
Curry Burns, a former Patriot, was one of three starters on defense who spent time on a practice squad this season.
Giants dressed only 43 players, three fewer than they are permitted.
TE Jeremy Shockey (back), WR Amani Toomer (hamstring), SS Gibril Wilson (burner), G Chris Snee (inflamed gland), T Brandon Winey (concussion), WR/DB Mark Jones
(hernia), DT William Joseph (knee), and DT Kenderick Allen (hamstring) did not play.
Jeff Feagles punted five times, leaving him three short of the NFL career record, held by former Giant Sean Landeta at 1,367.
Because the Giants beat Dallas, next season they will host the NFC North's second-place team (Vikings) and visit the NFC South's runner-up (Saints).
The 2005 first-round draft pick the Chargers received for Manning will be No. 13 instead of the sixth pick they would have had with a Giants' loss.
Next Game
None until next season.
