"If you made it out to the stadium today, you found the weather to be a bit better than expected, but the Eagles were still as bad as you thought they would be. They got to Eli Manning
five times, and even though the Giants kept it close in the first half, you felt that they could win this one only if they caught a break here and there or if Eli Manning suddenly knew everything
all at once that his brother knows from playing the game as long as he has.
Overall the Giants gave it their all, and I respect that, but it still wasn't enough. I do have to say, and it's not in spite, that I don't think I saw a team capable of winning a Super Bowl
out there on the field today, but that's become a typical problem for the Eagles. I know I don't have to worry about it, but the Eagles won the NFC title for the fourth straight time, and
have to try to do something with it once again."

"It's really surprising that the Giants can take all the injuries they have, and still manage to be in the game week after week. They keep coming up short, but what can you expect at
this point. Today, besides playing without center Shaun O'Hara (ankle), safety Gibril Wilson (burner) and linebacker Nick Greisen (ankle), they lost DT Norman Hand for the game, and DE Chuck
Wiley for the season with torn knee ligaments.
Seeing Eli Manning hit wide receiver Jamaar Taylor twice for 102 yards, was great of course, but you really need to put seven points on the scoreboard after it. The Giants came away with a
field goal, and an interception after Manning tried to force the ball into Shockey's hands in the endzone. Manning had a lot to deal with with the Eagles blitzing from various positions. He
completed only 6 of his passes. We all want to see instant success with Manning on the field, but it's going to take time."
