Kerry Collins threw for three long touchdowns.
Amani Toomer caught 2 and Ike Hilliard got 1.
Giants held the Browns to just 41 yards rushing.
Michael Strahan had 7 tackles and 2 sacks.
Giants have won 4 straight games and are now 7-2.

How did you like that first half Gamegirl?
"I loved it of course. I'm a loyal Giants fan and I relish the challenge of watching us struggle every game, win or lose. Hearing right at the start of the game that Tiki Barber had a fractured right thumb was great. Watching Ron Dayne start to put some runs together and then fumble was just perfect. Seeing Percy Ellsworth recover the fumble for Cleveland was even better. You could just picture how the rest of the game was going to go and what the Monday headlines would be. Cleveland drew a pass interference call on us, and they were sitting at the Giants 1 yard line! The defense held them to a field goal, but somehow, the first quarter ended with the Browns first on the board with 3 and the Giants 0."

The Giants came right back.
"Yes, but the Browns stopped them and my Giants had to settle for a field goal also. So at least it was tied, but Cleveland marched down to our 18 yard line without much trouble. They could easily have been up 6-3 with about 5 minutes left in the half if they took the easy field goal and didn't go for it on 4th down and one. They didn't make it, and I still don't know why they did that. Maybe that's one of the reasons they're a 2-8 team. Anyway, I couldn't believe how all the Giants were getting injured one after the other! You still couldn't relax until the Giants scored that touchdown on the next drive, right after the two minute warning. It was a big pass to Ike Hilliard that made it 10-3. The Giants came alive on offense, and it set the tone for the rest of the game."

Think the Giants are ready for the Rams next week?
"Come on, I just said that they set the tone for the rest of the game, not for the rest of the season. Really, I don't think any team can be 'ready' for the Rams, and certainly not the Giants if they get off to another slow start. Don't get me wrong, I do think the Giants can win next week. Sehorn will be back, we have a great defense, and hopefully all the Giants that got hurt this game will recover. This game was a good confidence booster for the guys, so I guess I'm as foolish as the rest of the fans when I say, 'Bring on the Rams."

Giants are on a four game streak.
"Yes, a hard four against the Falcons (3-7), Cowboys (3-6), Eagles (6-4) and Browns (2-8). Now they will summon up all their false courage and go up against the Rams (7-2). But what the heck, the Giants are 7-2 also. They just weren't the Superbowl Champions last year, and so what that the Rams have scored 354 points to the Giants 168 this season. So what that the Rams just finished an NFL-record streak of 14 straight games with 30 or more points, while the Giants, let me see now, over the last 8 complete full seasons, had only 12 games like that.
The ace in the hole for the Giants is that they have given up only 115 points compared to the Rams 279. That's right, the Rams have given up the most amount of points in the NFL while the Giants are just one team away from giving up the least. Interesting stuff, but let's get back to the Cleveland game."

Overall how did the Giants do?
"Good and bad. The Browns loaded up to stop the run, and the Giants went to the passing game, but why did they take so long going to it? On defense, Mike Barrow made big plays, and of course Strahan came up big with those 2 sacks and a 4th-and-1 stop. Rookie Cornelius Griffin gets better with every game. Emmanuel McDaniel is certainly doing the job.
The offensive line plays like a real unit, and worked through the injuries and substitutions. The announcers were right to shine a spotlight on Greg Comella as he continues to impress with his blocking and receiving. Tiki Barber and Ron Dayne took a back seat in this game to Kerry Collins, Ike Hilliard and Amani Toomer. All you have to do is look at their numbers in the stats section."

What about all the injuries?
"The Giants have been lucky so far this season, but this game there were quite a few. TE Dan Campbell took a blow to the head and was motionless on the ground for awhile, but they say he's OK. Center Dusty Zeigler sprained his MCL, but they say he could have returned. LB Jack Golden has a sprained neck. Ron Dayne has a strained neck. Tackle Luke Petitgout has a thigh bruise, Joe Montgomery was hurt while playing special teams. On the opening kickoff, he suffered a pulled quad and they kept him out for the rest of the game."

What about the Rams next week?
"l already started talking about that. Check back later in the week for the full review, but bottom line - Yes, the Giants can do it."
