"Thank you Amani Toomer! Amani did it years ago, and he can still do it today.
Tiki Barber wasn't the only forgotten player on the Giants. For some reason, they also had trouble remembering Amani Toomer until today. Someone must have tapped Eli Manning on the shoulder
and said 'Look at Toomer first, because Plaxico just doesn't seem a hundred percent this game, and the way the Broncos are coming at you, there's not much time to pick and choose.'
Plaxico gave it all he had. He fought off the defenders for 6 catches, 84 yards and 1 touchdown, but Toomer came up with the big plays down the stretch against the Broncos and finished up
with 8 catches for 62 yards and the touchdown that gave the Giants the win. I don't want to overlook that everyone had a hand, with Jeremy Shockey catching a a 24-yard pass on third-and-10
at the Denver 32 on the last drive of the game. The stadium rocked, and it was 'Giants exciting' all the way."

"There is no doubt that if the Giants had the same game
plan they had last week against Dallas, trying to go for the big passing play all the time, that Denver could have knocked Manning out of the game. The Giants could have done better, because
even mixing it up with 20 rushing plays, the Denver defense was keyed on getting to the quarterback.
It was like Coughlin said 'I hear you' going with the running game and that may have seemed like a mistake when Tiki Barber messed up early on with a fumble that led to a Denver field goal,
but he came back on the very next carry. Tiki broke one for 34 yards, and the Giants finished that drive off with a touchdown. Eli Manning had his hands full with the Broncos hitting him at
every turn, and he really hung in there and made some amazing throws while being pressured. It paid off in the end when he completed that pass to Toomer to win the game."
