The Giants did enough to win it.
Tiki Barber rushed for 118 yards on 17 carries.
Ron Dayne had a 3-yard touchdown run on the Giants first possession.
Michael Strahan had a 32-yard sack and leads the NFL with 15.
Will Allen came up with an interception to end the game.

It was a win, but the Giants were expected to win this one.
"You know it, but why do these games have to be so close? The Giants were out in front 14-0, and then it turns into 14-10 by the third quarter. The way Jake Plummer was able to hit Dave Boston all day, the Giants were living dangerously to by letting the Cards keep it all just one touchdown away."

What did you think of Strahan today?
"
Strahan was great. He's having some year. That play where he sacked Plummer and hit the ball out of his hand was really something. Kenny Holmes picked up the ball, got some yardage, and then I was surprised to see him lateral the ball to Mike Barrow. By the way, all you guys should click on that link we have up and make sure to vote Strahan into the Pro Bowl this year."

The Giants actually threw passes to the tight ends.
"Yes, I think there was one pass to each one of them. I guess they threw to Howard Cross because it was his 200th game. I have no idea at all why they threw one to Dan Campbell. You can't just dole out these passes to the tight ends willy-nilly."

The Giants play Minnesota next week.
"The Eagles really beat up on them good today, with a 48-17 win. With what the Giants did to them in the playoffs last year and now this, maybe they'll be afraid to play against any NFC East teams."

The Giants were limited to less than 100 yards rushing in four straight games.
"They broke out of that today with the extensive use of something called 'Tiki Barber'. He had 17 carries for 118 yards, and also caught two passes. That was his first 100-yard game since Week One of last season, which also was against the Cards. The big mystery of this game is why with the Giants driving the ball all the time, the score was so low."

Strahan has 15 sacks now.
"He leads the league, and that ties him for the third-highest single-season total in Giants history. Overall though in this game, Plummer was able to escape the pass rush and be effective throwing."

What were the weaknesses you saw.
"On defense, we couldn't stop passes from getting to Dave Boston. On offense, we couldn't score points. On special teams, obviously it hurts to have Rodney Williams out. Owen Pochman did his best subbing, but that one short punt of his gave the Cards the ball at the Giants 38, and two plays later, they were in the endzone."
