Donovan McNabb was sacked 6 times by five different players. (Note - 10/26, corrected 4 sacks)*
Strahan had 2 of those sacks.
Kerry Collins was 21-33 for 162 yards, no INTs, and no TDs.
Ike Hilliard had 6 catches for 80 yards.
The Giants lose two games in a row by one point.

At the end of the half, the Eagles had 2 first downs and the Giants had 13.
"That first half was really something. It's too bad the Giants couldn't put some real points up on the board somewhere along the line."

The Giants really stalled in that second half, picking up only 3 more first downs.
"I was surprised. It was a chip away here and there kind of night, but I thought the Giants would continue to control the Eagles and the game. I thought they'd put up at least six more points and come away with the win."

Now the Giants have lost two in a row by one point.
"That was very disappointing. The Giants made their usual mistake of keeping the other team in the game to the very end. I'm a paying fan, but I don't need for all the Giants games to be thrillers, especially if they're going to finish up like this one."

Next week it's on to Washington.
"Right, and I don't have to remind you how close that last game against them was."

The Eagles stole it in the last two minutes Mikefan.
"Sure, but you can't say the Eagles didn't deserve to win one after losing nine straight. Last week the Giants showed they could play with the big boys, and now the Eagles have done the same."

Even with those six sacks, the Giants lost.
"Yeah, and if you think about it, they had six sacks last week against Kurt Warner, and lost that one also. So much for sacks, and so much for stats. The Giants held the Eagles to only 2 third down conversions in 11 tries. They had more time of possession, more passing yards, more completed passes, more total plays, more of a lot of stuff including field goals, but it didn't matter. The Eagles had more touchdowns, just one to our none and that did matter. Anyway, now they have a one-half game lead over the Giants in the NFC East."

So what did we learn from this game?
"We learned that we definitely need a healthy Tiki Barber and Ike Hilliard for a balanced attack. We learned that we can't win a lot of games without scoring touchdowns, and that we're starting to look like one of those bad luck teams that has it's moments, but doesn't win football games."
