Plaxico Burress caught 1 pass for 17 yards and 1 TD.

Chase Blackburn and Kareem McKenzie each recovered 1 fumble.
John Carney kicked 3 field goals of 27, 26, and 28 yards.

Game Notes:
"Well it wasn't easy, but how does it go? 'Another one bites the dust. Another one bites the dust, and another one gone, and another one gone. Another one bites the dust.' The Giants have an 8-1 record and have beaten all the NFC East division teams. They've really separated themselves from the pack in the win column. I'll give it to the Eagles for really bringing it tonight, and a lot of the plays were really close.
In the end the game came down to the Giants defense having to stop Donovan McNabb from leading his offense to the endzone for what would most certainly have been the winning touchdown. The Giants held Brian Westbrook on a third-and-three and then a fourth-and-one with less than two minutes to go. Then they kept the ball and ran the time down having to make their own fourth-and-one play for a first down. Eli Manning kept the ball, forced it over the marker and that was it. That was a perfect finish for this hard fought game."

Game Notes:
"The Eagles did some of what they had to do. Except for one 17 yard touchdown reception, they were able to keep the ball away from Plaxico Burress who usually comes up big against them, but that's about all they accomplished. Amani Toomer and Kevin Boss grabbed a combined 11 passes for 122 yards and one more touchdown. Their defense did pressure Manning for one sack and 1 interception, but the Giants running game killed them. Brandon Jacobs racked up 126 yards on 22 carries and two touchdowns, and he was well complimented by Derrick Ward and Ahmad Bradshaw.
Donovan McNabb avoided being sacked and his offense made the Giants pay for Manning's one interception and Brandon Jacobs fumble, turning both those mistakes into touchdowns, but the Giants defense was able to stop their big weapon cold. Brian Westbrook averaged only 2 yards a carry on his 13 attempts. He usually does much better against the Giants. In the air, McNabb spread his passes around to seven different receivers including Westbrook and that's where the Eagles were their most efficient. The Eagles played tough, and they probably needed the Giants to make just one more mistake to win this game, but that didn't happen."

Notes:
Giants Plaxico Burress had 633 yards and 6 TDs in his last seven games against the Eagles.
He had one catch in this game for 17 yards and a touchdown.
He has just 10 catches for 90 yards in the past four games.

Giants for the first time this season had both kickers active, Lawrence Tynes and John Carney.

Since the 2002 realignment into eight four-team divisions, one division has never had all four teams finish with winning records. That seems possible for the NFC East this season.

Eagles are currently 0-3 in the division.
