Giants beat the Cowboys 35-14.
Eli Manning was 16-of-27 for 147 yards with 3TDs and 1 INT.
Brandon Jacobs rushed for 117 yards on 17 carries and 1TD.
Derrick Ward rushed for 63 yards on 12 carries and 1 TD and caught 2 passes
for 26 yards.
Ahmad Bradshaw rushed for 20 yards on 5 carries.
Plaxico Burress caught 3 passes for 15 yards.
Kevin Boss caught 3 passes for 34 yards and 1 TD.
Steve Smith caught 5 passes for 29 yards and 1 TD.
Amani Toomer caught 2 passes for 26 yards and 1 TD.
Sinorice Moss caught 1 pass for 2 yards.
Justin Tuck had 2.5 sacks.
Mathias Kiwanuka had 1 sack.
Jay Alford had .5 sacks.

Game Notes:
"Wow. The Giants showed that they are the team to beat. Eli Manning
was uncharacteristically sloppy with the ball, but that didn't take away
from the rest of the game he played, considering he threw three touchdown
passes. He was sharp this game except for that one interception he threw
that was intended for Plaxico Burress. It's hard to know what the plan
was, but they obviously didn't have it together on that play. After that,
I'm pretty sure Manning didn't throw one his way for the rest of the half,
and the whole third quarter.
He did throw for three touchdowns to Kevin Boss, Steve Smith and Amani
Toomer, and Brandon Jacobs and Derrick Ward killed with their running.
The defense always seems to play strong and were great with their three
interceptions. Also, as a long time Giants fan, I always like to see a
game where Amani Toomer catches a touchdown, especially against the Cowboys.
I say, 'Bring on the Eagles' and let's have a win against all our division
teams. "
Game Notes:
"The
Giants defense had the Cowboys off balance for the entire game. I couldn't
believe one play where Brad Johnson had plenty of time to throw, and he
tossed a ball to Terrell Owens that should have been an easy catch, but
it was way out of bounds. That's what defensive pressure can do to you.
If you want to fault the Giants at all in this game it would be for the
two fumbles they lost, the first two of the season. Remember in this game
the Cowboys scored on only one successful offensive drive for a touchdown
in the fourth quarter. The other seven points were from a 23
yd interception return by their defense.
The Giants are in a nice position now with
this win over the Cowboys. They took nothing for granted even though the
Cowboys weren't at full strength and that's just the right attitude to
have going up against the Eagles next week."

Giants Steve Smith scored his first career touchdown.
Giants 12-game streak without losing a fumble ended when Manning fumbled in the 2nd quarter.
