Game Notes:
"If you made it to the stadium you felt that there was a big drop in temperature over the last few days and it was raining as well. If you thought you felt miserable settling into your seat when the game started, you felt even worse less than one minute later thanks to Ahmad Bradshaw fumbling on the first snap and the Browns scoring a touchdown two plays later. Before five minutes were up the Browns had scored again. Our Super Bowl championship Giants were playing like an 0-4 team and now thanks to some sloppy downfield coverage they were in the hole 14-0 to the real 0-4 team.
The Giants came back with a touchdown and the Browns followed up with a field goal and then the Giants did the same. They were behind 17-10 when Stevie Brown turned things around. The Browns were threatening and he intercepted the ball at the Giants 14 yard line and ran it back almost fifty yards. Eli Manning and Rueben Randle connected up for a 36 yard pass and Bradshaw made up for his earlier fumble with a four yard touchdown run and the Giants tied it up 17-17.
On the kickoff Stevie Brown came up big again when Will Hill caused Cleveland's returner to fumble and he scooped it up giving the Giants the ball at the Browns 29 yard line. Before you knew it Manning had thrown a pass to Victor Cruz for a 7 yard touchdown. The day no longer seemed gloomy when the Giants suddenly had time to squeeze in a field goal to end the half leading 27-17.
The Browns got the ball to start the second half and were held by the Giants. Cruz scored his third touchdown right after that. With the score 34-17 there wasn't much to worry about. The Browns scored a field goal to make it 34-20. In the fourth quarter David Wilson ran the ball in for a forty yard touchdown and the Browns offense managed one more touchdown while Bradshaw continued to run through their defense. By the end of the game the weather had cleared up and so had my disposition with the Giants winning this one 41-27. The sun had come out, at least in my heart, and I hope the sun shines down on my Giants next week in San Francisco!"

Game Notes:
"The Giants knew there were two real big threats to face on this winless Cleveland Browns team. They had to stop running back Trent Richardson, the number 3 overall pick in the draft and quarterback Brandon Weeden, number 22. They may have been too relaxed facing these two rookies because before five minutes were up, they were down 14-0 with Richardson running for a 15 yard touchdown and Weeden throwing a 62 yard touchdown pass.
The Giants have been known to lower or rise to their level of competition and they seemed determined to do just that before they turned things around. There are lots of stories in this game. They were sparked by safety Stevie Brown, who may have blown his coverage earlier allowing that big touchdown pass by Weeden, making two great plays in a row and they really never looked back after that.
Ahmad Bradshaw atoned for his early fumble by running for 200 yards and one touchdown. Linebacker Chase Blackburn, who was left sitting on a couch last year before the Giants called him up to help win the last few games and the Super Bowl, intercepted a Weeden pass in the end zone. David Wilson, out of the doghouse for his earlier fumbling, was out on the field just long enough to have two carries, and one was a 40 yard touchdown. Wilson marked the occasion of his first score by doing a backfilp in the endzone. Victor Cruz scored three touchdowns but he let one ball get loose for an interception with an interference call that may have been overlooked by the 'real officials'.
The only story I care about is where is the Giants pass rush? Sacks come with quarterback pressure and for some reason we're not seeing enough of that. The next three games, starting with San Francisco and then two division games against Washington and Dallas, will show if this team has enough to take things all the way or not."

Notes:
Giants are 9-0 in games where Ahmad Bradshaw has rushed for 100 yards or more.

Giants first-time starter Rueben Randle had team highs - receptions (6) and receiving yards (82).

Browns Brandon Weeden completed the longest pass of his career.

Browns Trent Richardson scored a touchdown in four straight games, a team record.

Browns streak of beating defending Super Bowl champions they faced ended.
It was the Giants in 2008 (35-14), the Pittsburgh Steelers in 2009 (13-6) and the New Orleans Saints in 2010 (30-17). They did not play Green Bay in 2011 and they did not win today.
