Giants win over the Redskins 32-21
Eli Manning was 23 of 32 for 279 yards and 2 touchdowns.
Rashad Jennings rushed for 32 yards on 11 carries and caught 3 passes for 25 yards.
Andre Williams rushed for 29 yards on 14 carries and 1 TD.
Shane Vereen rushed for 23 yards on 6 carries.
Rueben Randle caught 7 passes for 116 yards and 1 TD.
Odell Beckham Jr. caught 7 passes for 79 yards and 1 TD.
Larry Donnell caught 3 passes for 32 yards.
Daniel Fells caught 3 passes for 27 yards.
Devon Kennard had 1 sack.
Prince Amukamara and Uani' Unga each had interceptions.
Josh Brown kicked field goals of 35, 47 and 48 yards.

Game Notes:
"You didn't know what to expect after watching the Giants the past two weeks. It was great to see them get off to a fast start. Washington got the ball first and their 3rd and 2 completed pass turned into a 3rd and 12 because of a penalty. With the Redskins running game working so well, I don't know if Kirk Cousins has had to handle many 3rd and long situations, and when the Giants brought pressure this time, he didn't.
They had to punt and when Rashad Jennings ran into the kicker, I thought 'Here we go again'. Luckily there was an offsetting penalty so Washington had to kick again. Jennings wasn't shy from the last play and he blocked the punt and it went out of the end zone for a safety and two points. Now that's how to start a game!
The next time that Cousins tried a pass, he was intercepted by Prince Amukamara and he took it a few yards back to the Redskins 14 yard line. Eli Manning's pass to Odell Beckham Jr. was good for 6 yards and to Rueben Randle for 7 and then Andre Williams punched it in on his second carry and the Giants went up 9-0.
Our defense held them to 3 and out, and the next time the Giants had the ball they added a field goal. We were 12-0 at the end of the first quarter and beating the Redskins in all areas. At the end of the half it was 15-6 and you kind of got the feeling that the Giants weren't going to let yet another lead slip away in front of all their fans today at the stadium. They didn't and the final score was 32-21, so now the pressure is off, having nailed down a win. Because this was a Thursday game they'll have a lot of time to prepare for their next game up in Buffalo."

Game Notes:
"The Redskins, who have been tearing up the field with their running attack, tried it against the Giants and came up short. It's true that Matt Jones and Alfred Morris didn't have as many opportunities as they did in the earlier games, but still, they each ran for their lowest averages per carry. The Redskins had run for an impressive 161 and 182 yards in the first two games and here the Giants held them to just 62 on the first 19 carries out of 20. The Redskins added 26 yards more to that to achieve 88 when the Giants were content to let Chris Thompson run up the middle on the last play of the game to kill the clock.
Kirk Cousins wasn't able to bail them out with his arm. He had 49 chances to do it and ended up throwing 1 touchdown and 2 interceptions. To be fair, the ball was bounced up in the air on the second interception and Uani' Unga snagged it. Cousins could have used a big play receiver like DeSean Jackson out there, and there's a chance he could make it back for their next game against the Eagles.
The Giants had control of this game from the start and never let go. The opened the second half with confidence and even went for a 4th and 1 at Washington's 38 yard line. They settled for a field goal a few plays later, but ate up half of the 3rd quarter with their 7:40 drive. It was on Washington's next possession that Unga intercepted Cousins.
So are the Giants back on track? It seems almost too easy to say that having middle linebacker Jon Beason back in on defense for the first time this year made all the difference, but you have to count in that factor. On offense you can say they did a very strong job, especially considering that Ereck Flowers didn't play. Unlike last week, Eli Manning was able to utilize Rueben Randle, and now Victor Cruz looks to be back for the next game against the Bills."

Giants led in the entire game except for the first few minutes when there was no score.

Redskins rookie running back Matt Jones has lost fumbles in each of the last two games.
