Game Notes:
"Once again the Giants had a big halftime lead and this time they made it stick. It was hard not to have mixed feelings watching this game. I was glad to see the Giants scoring points, but was waiting for the other shoe to drop where they mess up and somehow manage to lose, and there were some strange mess ups.
Defensive end Damontre Moore drew a penalty when he shoved Titans quarterback Zack Mettenberger to the ground after an interception by Dominique Rodgers-Cromartie. Cromartie made it to the endzone for a touchdown, but his points were taken off the board because of that penalty.
On the other hand, Cromartie casually high-stepped his way to the endzone, making a big deal of his interception return. Maybe next time he'll race his way in before another teammate screws up his touchdown return. Anyway, once in the endzone, he was joined by Antrel Rolle and they both started taking pretend pictures of each other, drawing an excessive celebration penalty.
I guess they were all feeling a little too good considering that they were way up on the score and about to break a seven game losing streak. The offense took the field and though they weren't able to get that touchdown back, Josh Brown hit on a 42 yard field goal to make it 37-6 and that became the final score of the game. Maybe celebrations are in order."

Game Notes:
"So, defensive tackle Markus Kuhn scores a touchdown and Odell Beckham Jr. throws a 60 yard pass that falls incomplete. Special teams coordinator Tom Quinn grabs Steve Weatherford on the sideline after a bad punt. Same old Giants right? Yes, there were some surprises in this game, the biggest being that the Giants pulled off a win for a change after dropping seven straight. So what that it came against a team with the worst defense in the league or one with an even worse win loss record than the Giants.
The level of competition was just right for the team at this point as they try to put some distance from being a just lousy team to a mediocre one. Of course this all depends on your rating system and there are still three games to go with each one being a step up in class. They'll face the Redskins, then the Rams and Eagles and have the possibility of finishing the season with a well earned mediocre 7-9 record. That last game with the Eagles will be the 'Super Bowl' for this years' Giants team, an opportunity to maybe knock off a division rival on the way to the playoffs.
Just sit back and try to enjoy rookies like Odell Beckham Jr., whose 'one handed catch jersey' is already on display at the Pro Football Hall of Fame. By the way, Beckham
caught 11 passes for 130 yards and a touchdown in this game and that's important too, I guess. Beckham could have had more, but the Giants were protecting their lead in the second half and didn't try to push it.
Andre Williams rushed for 131 yards and a touchdown and caught a few passes. Rookie linebacker Devon Kennard and second year defensive end Damontre Moore each had two sacks. Enjoy what you can when it happens."
