Dec 31 Giants face tough task: Keeping up with the Cowboys. Can they keep up? Judging from what transpired the past five weeks and, really, for much longer than that, the answer is no. For the Giants to keep alive their strange-but-true playoff-aspiration reality, the answer might have to be yes.

Dec 30 Daniel Jones must show Giants he is their franchise QB in pivotal finale against Cowboys. The Giants have more than a potential NFC East Division title and playoff berth riding on a Week 17 game with Dallas.

Dec 29 Giants aren't apologizing for wild NFL playoff scenario. Blake Martinez saw his head coach get fired in December 2018 and played in two meaningless games. What happened to the Packers then is what normally happens to six-win teams in the NFL. This is not. If Martinez's Giants beat the Cowboys on Sunday to get to six wins, they have a chance to become the first-ever 10-loss playoff team, win a division title and host a wild-card game.

Game 15 Preview - Giants (5-9) Ravens (9-5)
The Baltimore Ravens had a 26-0 halftime lead over the Jacksonville Jaguars in their game on Sunday. They finished up with a 40-14 win, and have now won three straight games.
On Sunday night the Giants took their second loss in a row. The Cleveland Browns had them down 13-3 at the half, and the final score was 20-6.

Dec 27 Daniel Jones is expected to start Sunday against the Baltimore Ravens after missing last week's game with ankle and hamstring injuries, a source told ESPN. Jones, who was listed as questionable for the game, passed all the checkpoints this week at practice. Coach Joe Judge was looking to see if Jones could protect himself on the field and have some of the mobility that allowed him to be a running threat prior to the injury.

Dec 26 The New York Giants and safety Logan Ryan agreed to a new three-year extension that will tie him to the team through 2023, a source confirmed to ESPN. The deal is worth $30 million with $20 million guaranteed, according to the source. The two sides, led by Giants assistant general manager Kevin Abrams and agent Joel Segal, worked through Christmas Eve to get the deal done, per the source. It's now a nice gift for all having been finalized on Christmas Day. Ryan, 29, earned the extension with his strong play this season.

Dec 25 Giants have expensive Leonard Williams decision to make. Leonard Williams got a big contract after a quiet season. What's he in store for following a big season? That's a major question for the direction of the Giants' offseason.

Dec 24 Special Report - If you thought Baker Mayfield and Kyler Murray were problems for the Giants, just wait for Lamar Jackson to get started Sunday afternoon. He's the Baltimore Ravens' quarterback, yet another first-round draft choice (2018) and so far this season he has completed 215 of 332 passes for 2,461 yards and 21 touchdowns - and he has rushed 135 times for 828 yards (that's 6.1 per trip) and scored seven times. So what about their quarterback, Daniel Jones, who missed last week's loss to Cleveland because of a sprained Achilles tendon and a sprained ankle? Will he play?

Dec 23 Week 16 in the NFL season is here and the entire NFC East still has a chance. The Giants need to pull off the upset against the Ravens in Baltimore. A loss Sunday and a Washington win would eliminate the Giants from contention. If Washington loses, regardless of what happens against the Ravens, the Giants would remain alive in Week 17. Their hope would be flickering, though, if the Eagles beat the Cowboys.

Dec 22 This unique NFL season took another twist for James Bradberry and Evan Engram, who learned they earned their first Pro Bowl selections although the game will not actually be played. Bradberry is the first Giants cornerback to be voted in since Janoris Jenkins in 2016, while Engram is the team's first Pro Bowl tight end since Jeremy Shockey in 2006.

Giants lose to the Browns 20-6

On the Game - Game 14
Gamegirl ..."I was feeling good. The Giants were going to score on their first drive in this game with either a touchdown or a field goal, but then..."
Mikefan ..."The Giants had a chance to move into first place. There are only two more games left to do that..."

Game 14 Preview - Giants (5-8) Browns (9-4)
On Monday night the Cleveland Browns played one heck of a game with the Baltimore Ravens. There was plenty of football action, but the Browns ended up on the losing side of a 47-42 score. The Giants game a day earlier was much less exciting, at least for their fans. The Arizona Cardinals controlled the whole game, and left MetLife Stadium with a 26-7 win.

Dec 20 Joe Judge choosing Colt McCoy on Sunday night against the Browns instead of Daniel Jones feels like one of those damned-if-you-do damned if you don't situations. It is the right call, if only because Judge saw the need to protect his young franchise quarterback from himself and live to fight another day with him ... and hindsight being 20/20, if he had sat Jones last week, he likely would have had him available for this week.

Dec 19 Giants await decision on Daniel Jones for Sunday. If Joe Judge knows whether Jones will play, he isn't ready to reveal it. The second-year quarterback is listed as questionable on the team's final injury report of the week. Jones has injuries to his right hamstring and left ankle. The former prevented him from playing two weeks ago in Seattle and he sustained the latter injury last week against Arizona. If Jones can't play, Colt McCoy will start. McCoy played the entire game in the Giants' victory against the Seahawks.

Dec 18 Cleveland Browns are 4.5 point favorites over NY Giants. Who knows the last time the Browns were an odds-on favorite to win a road game in late December? The last time the Browns beat the Giants in New York was on December 1, 1985.

Dec 17 Daniel Jones suffered 2nd leg injury, putting status for Browns game in doubt. Wednesday, coach Joe Judge said that Jones has "another lower leg issue" in addition to the hamstring injury the Giants quarterback was already dealing with from a few weeks ago.

Dec 16 As he routinely does on his Zoom calls with reporters, Joe Judge gave detailed and thoughtful responses to numerous queries, which unsurprisingly focused on quarterback Daniel Jones. But the coach's two most significant responses can be condensed to these: no (he doesn't lament playing Jones) and yes (Jones will start again Sunday night against Cleveland if he's able).

Dec 15 The last thing expected from a Joe Judge-coached team is happening to the Giants at the worst possible time. Special teams - albeit three different units - have made critical mistakes to gift points to the opponent in three straight games. The Bengals returned a kickoff for a touchdown. The Seahawks blocked a punt for a safety. And the Cardinals forced a kickoff-return fumble Sunday that set up their offense at the 21-yard line and led to the decisive touchdown in a 26-7 victory.

Dec 14 Giants lose to the Cardinals 26-7

Game 13 Preview - Giants (5-7) Cardinals (6-6)
The Cardinals took their third loss in a row on Sunday playing against the Los Angeles Rams. They scored a touchdown on their opening drive, but ended up losing the game, 38-28.
Last Sunday the Giants were in Seattle, up against a team that had twice as many wins. They pulled off a major upset, beating the Seahawks 17-12.

Dec 13 Giants fans will have their fingers crossed that when Daniel Jones runs through the MetLife Stadium tunnel, he will not tweak his questionable hamstring, that Judge's most critical decision of the season involving the quarterback position will be proven right.

Dec 12 The Giants are on the cusp of getting back their starting quarterback, but losing another important signal-caller. Daniel Jones was a full participant in Friday's practice - a first since he suffered a right hamstring strain on Nov. 29 - continuing the step-by-step trend toward starting Sunday against the Cardinals. The final injury report of the week designated Jones as "questionable," which is a step up from when he was considered "doubtful" and did not play last week against the Seahawks.

How are you feeling about the trade for Leonard Williams now, Giants fans? Is Dave Gettleman still the bumbling idiot who'd let the game pass him by? The Giants general manager was universally ridiculed for giving the Jets a third-round draft pick last season for Williams, who was in the final year of his contract. But that move isn't looking so foolish now with Williams sitting on a career-high 8 1/2 sacks, 24 quarterback hits and 10 tackles for losses this season with four games still to play.

Dec 11 Giants need more time for decision on Daniel Jones. Jones, who did not play in the 17-12 victory in Seattle because of a hamstring injury, was again limited in practice. Coach Joe Judge needs more time and evidence before concluding Jones can return to try and lead the Giants to their fifth consecutive victory.

Dec 10 Giants vs. Browns flexed to primetime in Week 15. The NFL announced today a flex-scheduling change for Week 15 on Sunday, December 20. The New York Giants' home game against the Cleveland Browns has been changed to 8:20 p.m. ET and will be broadcast on NBC. The game was originally scheduled for a 1 p.m. kickoff.

Leonard Williams wins NFC Defensive Player of the Week. The resurgence of Leonard Williams hit a new level on Sunday against the Seattle Seahawks as his 2.5 sacks of Russell Wilson was good enough to earn him NFC Defensive Player of the Week honors.

Former Giants
Ray Perkins died Wednesday at his home in Alabama. He was 79 years old. Perkins was the Giants head coach from 1979 to 1982. Perkins laid the groundwork for the Giants to evolve into Super Bowl champions, hiring Bill Parcells as an assistant coach.

Dec 9 Breaking down Week 13 win over Seattle. The Giants' pass rush and secondary complimented each other extremely well in this game. On plays when Seattle got a player open in the secondary, the pass rush got to Russell Wilson and prevented him from completing or even attempting the pass. On other plays, the secondary covered long enough for the front to generate a pass rush and get to him.

Former Giants
Odell Beckham rips Pat Shurmur for sabotaging Giants career: 'Felt betrayed'. The injured Cleveland Browns receiver believed he would play his entire NFL career for the Giants, but OBJ intimated that then-coach Pat Shurmur undermined his final two seasons with the team.

Dec 8 By the sounds of it, Giants coach Joe Judge practically had to restrain Daniel Jones from allowing him to play against the Seahawks on Sunday. Not really, but the point - Judge said after the Giants' shocking upset win against the Seahawks that it wasn't easy telling Jones they were going to hold him out.

Dec 7 Giants win over Seattle 17-12

On the Game - Game 12

Game 12 Preview - Giants (4-7) Seattle (8-3)
On Monday night the Seahawks traveled to Philadelphia. They ended up winning the game, 23-17.
The Giants played at Cincinnati on Sunday and came up with their third win in a row, beating the Bengals 19-17.

Dec 6 Colt McCoy ready if Daniel Jones can't go. When Colt McCoy last won a game as an NFL starting quarterback, the team he beat was coached by Jason Garrett. McCoy is expected to get a chance to earn his eighth career victory, a quest that will be heavily influenced by ... Jason Garrett.

Dec 5 Special Report - Daniel Jones practiced. Daniel Jones will make the trip to Seattle Saturday. Daniel Jones says his sore hamstring isn't quite as sore. But will Daniel Jones play Sunday against the Seahawks? Nobody knows for sure, and head coach Joe Judge just isn't talking. "I am absolutely not saying that he's out for Sunday," Judge said. "And it's a long flight to Seattle, so we'll have to see how he feels after that, and after our practice once we get there."

Dec 4 Giants get glimmer of hope in Daniel Jones' injury rehab. Even without taking team reps, the Giants could list Jones as "doubtful" on Friday's final injury report, fly him to Seattle and make him a Sunday game-time decision. "I plan for him to travel," Judge said.

Dec 3 Giants starting quarterback Daniel Jones, who is dealing with a hamstring injury, didn't practice Wednesday. Judge hasn't ruled out Jones for Sunday's game against the Seahawks, saying that he'd leave the decision in the hands of the team's medical staff, but acknowledged that Jones is champing at the bit to get out there.

Dec 2 Dave DeGuglielmo joined the Giants amid less than ideal conditions, but he said his arrival and the task before him are both quite simple. The man known throughout the NFL as Guge was named the team's new offensive line coach during the Giants' bye week on Nov. 18. He replaced Marc Colombo in a change of position coaches. But DeGuglielmo believes the focus should be on his job and not the events that led to him obtaining it.

Dec 1 Giants QB Daniel Jones avoided major hamstring injury, has outside shot to play vs. Seattle. The signal-caller has an outside chance of playing in Week 13 against the Seattle Seahawks, but the team will have a better idea of his availability in the coming days.

Game 11 Preview - Giants (3-7) Cincinnati (2-7-1)
Last Sunday the final score was Washington 20 - Cincinnati 9. Not only did the Bengals lose that game, they also lost their starting quarterback.
The Giants were on a bye week, coming off one of the best games of the season. It was a 27-17 win over the Philadelphia Eagles.

Nov 29 The moment Giants coach Joe Judge opted to fire offensive line coach Marc Colombo, in Week 11, for insubordination, the fallout was never going to feel ... normal. So Friday, offensive coordinator Jason Garrett spoke to the media for the first time since Colombo, his friend, was fired. Judge hired Colombo on Garrett's recommendation, after they'd spent the last four seasons together with the Cowboys.

Nov 28 After testing positive for COVID-19 on Nov. 16, Giants kicker Graham Gano is back working with trainers and is expected to play in Sunday's game at Cincinnati. Head coach Joe Judge said before practice Friday that he is "very optimistic" about Gano returning against the Bengals, adding that he wanted to take the day to evaluate how the first-year Giant is moving around before making a decision.

Nov 27 Giants not taking favored status vs. Bengals for granted. The Giants at 3-7 are in the middle of a strange but true playoff chase. The Bengals are 2-7-1 and embedded in last place in the AFC North. The Giants are favored in a road game for the first time in four years. So many signs point to the Giants here. Supposedly.

Nov 26 A potentially disastrous injury ultimately made the Giants stronger for their playoff push. Despite months of negotiations during the offseason, the Giants didn't sign free-agent safety Logan Ryan until rookie second-round pick Xavier McKinney fractured his foot, creating a huge hole in the defense. A post-surgery McKinney is on the verge of returning from injured reserve, and the two could be playing side-by-side Sunday against the Bengals.

Former Giants
Markus Paul, the All-American safety who helped spearhead Syracuse's undefeated football season in 1987 and later spent more than two decades as a respected strength coach in the NFL, died Wednesday at the age of 54. He won five Super Bowl rings serving on strength and conditioning staffs under Bill Belichick and Tom Coughlin in New England and New York, respectively.

Nov 25 Will the NY Giants be able to capitalize on a relatively manageable schedule down the stretch and win the NFC East in head coach Joe Judge's first season? Someone has to win the NFC East, and suddenly after beating the Washington Football Team and Philadelphia Eagles in consecutive weeks heading into the bye, the NY Giants just might be in the driver's seat.

Nov 24 Joe Judge spoke to reporters on Monday for the first time since firing offensive line coach Marc Colombo, which caused a hullabaloo considering the timing of it. Judge addressed the firing - and hiring of Dave DeGuglielmo as Colombo's replacement - though he didn't go into detail about exactly what happened. The common refrain: The decision was made in the best interest of the Giants.

Nov 23 Inside story on what led to Giants and no-nonsense Joe Judge firing Marc Colombo -- and how it happened. The firing of Colombo occurred last Wednesday morning, following an ugly, verbal altercation between Judge and Colombo on Tuesday night, according to multiple sources.

Nov 22 The modus operandi that overtook the college game and spilled over into the NFL did not exist in the world the Giants occupied on offense. The increasing thirst for quarterback mobility left the Giants parched, of their own volition. The zone-read trend did not infiltrate their thinking as long as Eli Manning was under center or back in the shotgun. The Giants are in it now, though. Daniel Jones took off and ran a career-high nine times as the Giants beat the Eagles, 27-17. He ran for 64 yards and led the team in rushing for the sixth time in 10 games. For the sixth time this season, he had the longest run (a 34-yard touchdown) of the game for his team.

Former Giants
Deandre Baker came out and said he wanted to return to New York. Why would the Giants be willing to let him walk so easily when he was exonerated?

Nov 21 Tension between Giants coach Joe Judge and fired offensive line coach Marc Colombo began over strategy and boiled over more than once before the ugly separation earlier this week. The breaking point came during a typical weekly meeting where Colombo, offensive coordinator Jason Garrett and Judge were supposed to review film.
Judge informed Colombo of the plan to add Dave DeGuglielmo to the offensive staff as a consultant, and a cursing-filled verbal confrontation ensued. Colombo and Judge had been at odds behind the scenes for weeks over the decision to rotate offensive linemen and other forms of perceived micromanaging, sources said.

Nov 20 The New York Giants are Joe Judge's team, entirely. That's all anyone needs to know as the rebuilding Giants head into their bye week after 10 games. Forget a 3-7 record. Don't bother mentioning they are riding a two-game winning streak and somehow have a chance to win the pitiful NFC East. This is a tough, hard-working team that is invested in their 38-year-old rookie coach's demand to focus on the little things, improve every week, and put the team first.

Nov 19 Special Report - Some call it shocking, others say stunning. At best, for those who even know a little bit about Joe Judge, it was surprising. The Giants announced Wednesday that their head coach had fired offensive line coach Marc Columbo after a reportedly heated discussion concerning first-round draft pick offensive tackle Andrew Thomas, and that Judge told Columbo he was going to make a change.
No, not a firing. He said he wanted to bring in another well-known offensive line coach, Dave DeGuglielmo, to work "with" Columbo as a sort of adviser. Columbo responded immediately, rejecting the idea. So Judge said what you might have expected him to say in the face of staff dissension: "You're fired." And instead of an adviser, DeGuglielmo became the new offensive line coach - immediately.

Nov 18 Kicker Graham Gano became the second Giants player to go on the Reserve/Covid-19 list in the last three weeks. Guard Will Hernandez was placed on the list on Oct. 29. He was activated on Nov. 10 and played in the Giants' 27-17 victory against Philadelphia on Sunday. The Giants signed kicker/punter Ryan Santoso from their practice squad, which he joined on Sept. 6.

Former Giants
DeAndre Baker, in line for a Super Bowl ring in a few months? It could be happening. The former Giants cornerback will meet Wednesday morning with the Chiefs Kansas City is expected to sign Baker to their practice squad in the next few days unless something unforeseen happens.

Nov 17 We are starting to see what the winning formula is for the 2020 New York Giants: "Do not beat yourself". The Giants have not turned the ball over for two straight weeks, and it should surprise no one that they won both of those games.

Giants fans woke up Monday morning feeling like the best 3-7 football team... ever. After eight straight games and four years of losing to the Eagles, the streak is over. It's a new dawn, a new day, a new life for the New York Football Giants.

Game 10 Preview - Giants (2-7) Philadelphia (3-4-1)
The Philadelphia Eagles are coming off a bye week. The last game they played was a 23-9 win over the Dallas Cowboys.
The Giants got their second win of the season on Sunday. They traveled and defeated the Washington Football Team 23-20.

Nov 14 Will Hernandez is a go, Devonta Freeman is a no and Golden Tate and Isaac Yiadom are maybes for the Giants' home game Sunday against the Philadelphia Eagles. Hernandez did not miss a snap in any of his first 39 career games, but that is likely to change against the Eagles. The Giants have recently rotated tackles Cam Fleming and rookies Andrew Thomas and Matt Peart.

Nov 13 Giants rookie left tackle Andrew Thomas has improved dramatically over the past two weeks, but that hasn't come without making a major change. According to Pro Football Focus, has had his two highest-graded performances in back-to-back weeks against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers and Washington Football Team.

Nov 12 When it comes to Daniel Jones and the New York Giants, too often throughout the first eight games of the season mistakes by the second-year quarterback cost the Giants opportunities to win games on several occasions. So, after the Giants defeated Washington on Sunday with Jones playing his first turnover-free game of the season, averaging his highest yards gained per passing attempt (6.24) of the season and making several good decisions to throw the ball away, dump it short or take a sack to avoid a bad play the reaction has been, in my view, incomprehensible.

Nov 11 The last time Golden Tate was on the field with the Giants, he was shouting "Throw me the damn ball!' Tyke Tolbert, the wide receivers coach, said. "Show me one receiver that don't want the ball, then you show me the first one... Because that'll be the first one I've seen. But with Golden, the fact that you keep preaching to him about the team, the team, the team. I have a phrase I always use with those guys - if you think you're getting open and you don't get the ball, just keep getting open, we'll find you."

NFL News
NFL owners vote to expand playoffs to 16 teams if COVID-19 forces postponement of games. The owners already had voted in May to expand the playoffs from 12 to 14 teams.

Nov 10 Joe Judge strongly believes his team is improving as it prepares to play a game that could improbably move them closer to serious contention for the NFC East title. On Sunday, the 2-7 Giants will host a rematch against the division-leading 3-4-1 Eagles, against whom they had an 11-point lead with five minutes remaining on Oct. 22. "There is no reason we can't continue to play at a high level," Judge said on a Zoom call today.

Washington was on a bye last week. In the game before that, they played the Dallas Cowboys and came away with an impressive 25-3 win.
On Monday, the Giants had a chance to take down the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. They were ahead 14-9 in the third quarter, but couldn't hold on and took a 25-23 loss.

Nov 7 Special Report - It's difficult to attach any real significance to a game played by a team with a 1-7 record against a team with a record of 0-8, which will take place Sunday when the Giants travel to Washington to play the No-Names.
But not for head coach Joe Judge, to whom every day is a new one, to whom every game is a critical one and to whom no detail will ever be left unattended. Thursday, when he virtually addressed the media, that mind-set came up big. "I need to improve, every coach on the staff needs to improve, every player needs to improve. That's our job."

Nov 6 Giants claim speedy WR Dante Pettis off waivers from 49ers. Could this spell the end for Golden Tate? Just as the Giants told one wide receiver to stay home, they brought another one into the fold.

Nov 5 Giants trainers helped save the life of Logan Ryan's wife. The Ryans - college sweethearts who met at Rutgers, where he played football and she played softball - have two children. They relocated to their native New Jersey after Logan signed in August with the Giants and reunited with coach Joe Judge. Ryan played for the Patriots from 2013-16, when Judge was an assistant coach.

Giants tell Golden Tate to stay home after on-field outbursts. The 32-year-old receiver was told to stay home from Giants practice Wednesday as discipline for bringing to life the title page from Keyshawn Johnson's book via his outbursts during Monday's loss to the Buccaneers. Tate, who has at least one reception in 122 straight games dating to Oct. 28, 2012, was not targeted by quarterback Daniel Jones during the first three quarters Monday. After he made his first catch early in the fourth, Tate looked to the Giants sideline and said, "Throw me the damn ball!"

Nov 4 Joe Judge takes no solace in almost winning and has no illusions about what it will take for the Giants to begin earning victories. For the fourth week in a row and the sixth time this season, the Giants last night played in a one-score game. They lost at home to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, 25-23 It was the fourth consecutive Giants' game and third straight loss decided by three points or less.

Game 8 Preview - Giants (1-6) Tampa Bay (5-2)
Last Sunday the Tampa Bay Buccaneers visited the Las Vegas Raiders. The score was tied at the end of the first quarter at 7-7. Early in the fourth quarter the game was still close, but then Tampa Bay added three straight touchdowns and left with a 45-20 win.
The Giants had a Thursday game with the Eagles in Philadelphia. The Giants held a 21-10 lead midway into the fourth quarter. They let it slip away and took a 22-21 loss to the Eagles.

Nov 2 Against the Buccaneers on Monday night Wayne Gallman will likely start and get the bulk of the Giants' rushing attempts, though not all of them. Veteran Dion Lewis will likely fill in on passing downs, if not more, and Alfred Morris will get some touches too. Morris was called up from the practice squad for Monday's game, and the eight-year veteran already has the trust of Garrett after playing two seasons (2016-17) for him with the Cowboys.

Nov 1 Sterling Shepard was surprised to learn he had been listed as limited in practice earlier this past week. He fully intends to play for a second straight game Monday night against Tampa Bay. Shepard has been dealing with turf toe since Week 2, missing four games before returning to the lineup for last week's 22-21 loss to Philadelphia. The $41 million slot receiver had six catches for 59 yards, including a 2-yard touchdown grab in the fourth quarter, against the Eagles.

Oct 31 A sense of normalcy returned to the Giants, or at least as normal as possible after one of their players was placed on the Reserve/COVID-19 list. That player, left guard Will Hernandez, remains in quarantine and will be away from the team for an undetermined period. But the five offensive linemen on the active roster who were instructed to stay home returned to practice and are on track to play Monday night, when the Giants will face the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in MetLife Stadium.

Oct 30 COVID-19 reached its chilling tentacles into the New York Football Giants huddle on Thursday, tapping Will Hernandez on the shoulder pad and forcing seven fellow offensive linemen and a pair of Joe Judge's assistants into isolation. It serves as a sobering and chilling reminder that the virus does not care if you are Daniel Jones, does not care if you are Saquon Barkley - you are fair game just as anyone else is, and what you think is an innocent dinner with friends in Manhattan can jeopardize your team and your teammates when you let your guard and your mask down.

Oct 29 For Giants tight end Evan Engram, it's critical that he doesn't allow the pass he let slip through the fingers of both of his hands define him. The one that, if caught, could have clinched a rare victory in Philadelphia a week ago on national television. "I've been there," Mark Bavaro, the greatest tight end in Giants history, told The Post. "I had a big drop against the Eagles on a Monday night in Philadelphia. If I had caught it, I might have scored and we might have won the game."

Oct 28 Joe Judge will see a familiar face on MNF: Tom Brady. "This guy is clearly one of the best to ever play the game," Judge said of Brady... "He's playing at a very high level. He has the guys around him playing at a high level as well." Judge credits Brady's football knowledge with contributing as much to his success as his physical skills.

Former Giants
Eli Apple - The Carolina Panthers have released cornerback Eli Apple. Apple left practice early Tuesday after communicating with coaches that he could not participate due to his hamstring injury. The cornerback has appeared in two games this season, including Sunday's Week 7 loss at the New Orleans Saints.

Oct 27 Having played Thursday night, this is like a mini-bye week for the New York Giants. With seven of 16 games in the books, it is also not quite the season's halfway point. It's close enough, though, for us to take stock of the 1-6 Giants.

Former Giants
Odell Beckham Jr., the Browns star wide receiver, is out for season with a torn ACL. Beckham limped to the locker room after attempting to make a tackle during the return of a Baker Mayfield interception in the first quarter of Sunday's win over the Bengals. Beckham was the intended receiver on Mayfield's first attempt of the day.

Oct 25 Aftermath of crushing Giants loss was telling look at Joe Judge. Judge admitted his team is not good enough to win unless it does everything almost perfectly - which almost never happens, and which is why they almost never win. Judge did not come out and say it, and he has yet to offer up any excuses for losing six times in his seven games. But this is telling...

Giants investigating video of maskless Daniel Jones, Saquon Barkley at social gathering. According to multiple reports, a small group of Giants players gathered for a dinner with a few friends in a private room at a restaurant. They were then invited to drinks at the bar closed to the public.

Oct 24 The Giants didn't wait for the trade deadline to make their first in-season deal of the year. Eleven days before the Nov. 3 deadline, the team announced it has traded outside linebacker Markus Golden to the Arizona Cardinals for a sixth-round selection in the 2021 NFL Draft. Golden returns to the team for which he played his first four NFL seasons before joining the Giants as a free agent in 2019. He led the Giants with 10.5 sacks last year.

Game 7 Preview - Giants (1-5) Eagles (1-4-1)
The Philadelphia Eagles lost to the Baltimore Ravens 30-28, on Sunday at Lincoln Financial Field. They were down 17-0 at the end of the first half. At the two minute warning, they had a chance to tie the score with a two-point conversion, but failed.
At the same time the Eagles were playing, the Washington Football Team was staging their comeback attempt against the Giants at MetLife Stadium. With the score at 20-19, they could have tied the game, but chose instead to go for the win with a two-point conversion attempt that also failed for them.

Oct 22 The Eagles are barely holding onto a second-place standing in the division behind the Dallas Cowboys (2-4), and the Giants could leap Philadelphia in the standings with an upset win on the road. Will the Eagles pick up momentum in the NFC East race? Or, will the Giants take the second-place baton from their rivals?

Former Giants
Odell Beckham told the media Wednesday why he was seen throwing a tamper tantrum on the sideline during Sunday's 38-7 loss to the Pittsburgh Steelers. According to cleveland.com, Beckham said he was angry about he and some of the other starters being pulled from the game with eight minutes remaining.

Oct 21 Backup struggles have Giants hoping for Sterling Shepard return. Shepard remains on IR (and off the official injury report) for now, and the Giants have a 21-day window to add him to the 53-man roster. His status for Thursday could be decided 90 minutes before kickoff.

Tae Crowder had a moment in the sun this week, but the Giants' rookie linebacker was placed on injured reserve with a hamstring injury suffered in a 20-19 victory against the Washington Football Team on Sunday. Crowder, the Mr. Irrelevant honoree from the 2020 NFL Draft, earned his first bit of professional fame by recovering a Kyle Allen fu.

Oct 20 Giants are must-watch with NFL madness making anything possible. We are 100 percent certain about three things: 1. The NFC East is, to put it nicely, awful. 2. The Eagles are banged up. The Cowboys lost their quarterback. Washington is just flat brutal, and seems intent on battling the Jets for the right to dream about Trevor Lawrence. 3. This would not be unprecedented. Twice in non-strike seasons, a team has finished with a losing record and won its division - meaning it didn't just qualify for the postseason, it actually got a home game out of it.f it.

Game 6 Preview - Giants (0-5) Redskins (1-4)
For the first time this season Washington had allowed fans at the stadium. They unfortunately saw their starting quarterback leave the game early on due to an injury, and the Los Angeles Rams won 30-10.
Later on Sunday, the Giants held a three point lead late in the fourth quarter at AT&T Stadium. The Cowboys came back and scored two field goals to keep their fans happy with a 34-31 win.

Oct 18 The Giants lost an important part of their linebacker corps when Lorenzo Carter ruptured his Achilles last week against the Cowboys, ending his season. Now he joins Oshane Ximines as outside linebackers on injured reserve, though Ximines is expected to return at some point. At least there's good news - the Giants are appear to be getting back inside linebacker David Mayo this week after he missed five games due to a knee injury suffered in training camp.

Oct 17 Special Report - Enough about Daniel Jones. He is the current Giants' quarterback, for better or worse, unless you would be happier with Colt McCoy - and of course you wouldn't be. Should the Giants have taken him in the 2019 draft with the sixth overall pick? Yes, if their mind was made up to draft a quarterback. Could they have tried to convince Eli Manning to play one more year? No, that would have constituted elder abuse.
What about signing a veteran for a year or two until another draft rolled around? Yeah, that might have worked, and if they had not taken Jones with that sixth position, they could have wound up with defensive end Josh Allen, defensive tackle Ed Oliver, linebacker Devin Bush, offensive tackle Jonah Williams or defensive tackle Jeffery Simmons, all of whom were taken shortly after that sixth spot.

Oct 16 Six years in the NFL has taught Markus Golden that what happens in one game has no bearing on what might occur the next time a team takes the field. In the first quarter of this season, Golden became a part-time player. He was on the field for just seven defensive snaps in the Giants' loss to the Rams in Los Angeles on Oct. 4 and 67 in the first four games. In 2019, he led the Giants with 10.0 sacks and was third with 917 defensive snaps. Golden was the first Giants linebacker with double-digit sacks since Hall of Famer Lawrence Taylor in 1990.

Oct 15 Struggling Daniel Jones has the support that Dwayne Haskins doesn't. Two second-year quarterbacks, both drafted in the first round, both playing under their second head coach. One benched for too much losing. One with an unshakeable grip on starting despite too much losing. These are the divergent paths of the Giants' Daniel Jones and Washington's Dwayne Haskins, who were drafted No. 6 and No. 15, respectively.

Oct 14 Giants O-line coach explains why Andrew Thomas is struggling inside. According to PFF, Thomas has allowed 28 total pressures from the left tackle position, including a season-high nine last week against the Dallas Cowboys. And Through five weeks, Thomas leads all offensive tackles with 28 pressures.
Giants offensive line coach Marc Colombo said its simply a matter of staying on Thomas each day to get him to clean up some things, but also noted that there is one thing in particular that has shown up on tape that opponents have exploited in Thomas' game.

Oct 13 The Giants have lost one of their most promising defensive players for the remainder of the season. An examination revealed that the third-year outside linebacker Lorenzo Carter ruptured his left Achilles tendon. He will undergo surgery within the next few days to repair the injury. The Giants were counting on Carter and second-year pro Oshane Ximines to be two of their top pass rushers this season. Now both will be on injured reserve. Ximines was placed there Friday with a shoulder injury, though he will be eligible to return after missing two more games.

Game 5 Preview - Giants (0-4) Cowboys (1-3)
The Cowboys scored 38 points last Sunday in their game with the Cleveland Browns. Still, it wasn't enough to keep up with the Browns, who outscored them 49-38.
The Giants had a chance to catch up near the end of their game in Los Angeles. Things didn't work out for them, and they took a 17-9 loss to the Rams.

Oct 11 Giants' task is clear: Score some touchdowns, already. Before this 0-4 start, Daniel Jones was over the moon about directing Jason Garrett's quarterback-friendly offense. What we have witnessed so far is a kicker-friendly offense. Jones has thrown two TD passes, none since the opener against the Steelers. Over the past three games, Graham "The Toe" Gano has booted eight field goals.

Oct 10 Ryan Lewis emerging as force in Giants' secondary. By force of habit, Ryan Lewis is still living out of his suitcase. Playing for eight NFL teams in four seasons with stints lasting as short as two weeks offers a lesson, but Lewis can earn the right to unpack Sunday if he is able to stabilize a major weakness for the Giants. He likely will be the third different starter in five games at No. 2 cornerback - tested early and often by the Cowboys' top-ranked passing attack.

Oct 9 Jason Garrett might be the most popular person in the Giants' headquarters this week and it has nothing to do with his affable personality or engaging nature. The Giants Sunday will face the Dallas Cowboys, for whom Garrett coached the previous 13 seasons, including the last 9 1/2 as their head coach. Garrett knows the Cowboys, their personnel and is even familiar with their offensive scheme (coordinator Kellen Moore called Dallas' plays in 2019) and will face them for the first time since leaving the organization.

Oct 8 Giants are going to play in front of fans for first time in 2020. Normally, hitting the road means bracing for disruptive and, at times, abusive crowd noise directed at the visiting team. The Giants played games in Chicago and Inglewood, Calif., this season and there was not a fan in sight. The Giants' two home games were also fan-less, in accordance with COVID-19 restrictions. On Sunday, there are expected to be around 20,000 fans inside AT&T Stadium - capacity of 80,000 sitting and expandable to 100,000 with standing room - when the Giants face the Cowboys.

Oct 7 The first four weeks of the 2020 NFL season have been a case of what can go wrong, will go wrong for the New York Giants. At 0-4, the Giants officially sit at the bottom of the NFC thanks to their status as the lowest-scoring team in all of football. By all accounts, the Giants are at rock bottom, yet there's reason to believe that they can only go up from here.

Oct 6 Special Report - The general reaction to the Giants close-but-no-cigar loss to the Los Angeles Rams is not an old one, but it has surfaced in recent months: "Is Daniel Jones the answer at quarterback? Is he Phil Simms or Eli Manning, or is he Dave Brown?" Head coach Joe Judge, whose resume currently says 0-4, was asked that question before the team left to fly home Monday morning.
He has been a rabid supporter of Jones and his response indicated only that. "Look, if you're asking if Daniel is our quarterback, then Daniel is our quarterback," he responded. "That's who we're playing. We support him, we have a lot of confidence in him, we have faith in him. Again, he's a young guy who's developing. We've seen a lot of progress from him day to day."

It might not look like it, but the coaches have made some subtle lineup changes to jumpstart this Giants team and get it into the win columns. The most notable is the decision to get rookie offensive tackle Matt Peart some more game snaps (yes, even though per PFF Cam Fleming is playing well). The other is at inside linebacker, where a struggling Deante Downs is losing snaps to a rising Tae Crowder. What are some of the other notable takeaways from this week's snap counts?

Game 4 Preview - Giants (0-3) Los Angeles Rams (2-1)
Last Sunday the Rams found themselves trailing the Buffalo Bills 28-3 in the third quarter. Then they scored on four consecutive drives, and took the lead by four points. The Bills needed a touchdown on their last drive of the game, and they managed to do that, giving them a 35-32 win over the Rams.
The Giants were holding their own in the first two losses against tougher competition. They took a big step backwards last week against a San Francisco 49ers team that was missing key players due to injuries. The Giants had their worst performance to date and took a 36-9 loss.

Oct 4 Giants' offense has been missing big plays. The word has been bandied about for a few weeks now: "explosive." The Giants don't have it. Their offense is missing it. Their longest run of the season is 23 yards, by quarterback Daniel Jones. Their longest run by a running back? Just 18 yards. The longest reception is a 41-yard touchdown pass from Jones to Darius Slayton. The second-longest reception is just 29 yards.

Oct 3 One of the Giants' brightest stars from this past summer is set to return home. Wide receiver Alex Bachman is currently undergoing COVID-19 testing and is expected to sign with the Giants' practice squad. Originally, Bachman was believed to be in the running to lock down a 53-man roster spot thanks to a stellar training camp showing. However, the former Wake Forest standout ultimately fell victim to a numbers game, as he was one of five receivers to be sent packing during final roster cuts.

Oct 2 Special Report - The Giants will fly off Saturday morning to Los Angeles, play the Rams Sunday and fly back Monday at noon. They will head west as 12-1/2 point underdogs and when they wing it home they will have probably proven that to be true. Bill Parcells used to say that the guys who make the point spreads don't play football, so what the hell do they know?
He is also the head coach who used to say: 'Don't call yourself a long-suffering fan. Nobody asked you to suffer. Try die-hard instead, makes you look stronger." While they are airborne, head coach Joe Judge and general manager Dave Gettleman might have thoughts rattling around in their heads only slightly connected to the game. For instance, is Daniel Jones really the right one to be the heir apparent to Eli Manning?

Oct 1 Markus Golden has gone from team MVP to mysteriously MIA. The most productive player on the Giants defense in 2019 has seen his playing time drastically reduced by the first-year coaching staff, meaning a strange road that began during free agency has spilled into the first three games. Asked to explain Golden's decreased role, Giants outside linebackers coach Bret Bielema declined specifics.

Sep 30 The Giants continued to shuffle up their running back room on Tuesday by releasing uninspiring veteran running back Rod Smith and adding another veteran in the form of Alfred Morris. Morris has proven to be an effective between the tackles runner which is something the NY Giants are severely lacking at the moment as the rushing unit ranks dead last in rushing yards and yards-per-attempt.

Sep 29 Daniel Jones has led the Giants in rushing in two of the first three games, but his read-option-keeper ability is now on tape and no longer a surprise. Corrections must start with the run-blocking: The Giants are last in the league in rushing yards per carry (3.2) and per game (56.7). Production was poor with five quarters of the elusive back Saquon Barkley and it's bottomed out since he suffered a season-ending torn ACL and left the job to Devonta Freeman, Wayne Gallman and Dion Lewis.

Game 3 Preview - Giants (0-2) San Francisco (1-1)
Last Sunday the San Francisco 49ers played at MetLife Stadium against the Jets. They came away with a 31-13 win, but suffered a number of injuries in the process.
The Giants also were struck with injuries in their game with the Bears in Chicago. They fought back from a 17-0 first-half deficit, and had a chance to win on the last play of the game, but took a 17-13 loss.

Sep 27 San Francisco will be down its quarterback (Jimmy Garoppolo), tight end (George Kittle), No. 1 wide receiver (Deebo Samuel), top two running backs (Raheem Mostert, Tevin Coleman) and center (Weston Richburg). Despite that, this will be no cakewalk for the Giants, and the reason for that is two-fold. For one, the 49ers have some of the best depth in the NFL and are as well-equipped as anyone to stomach even this amount of roster decimation. Second, they have one of the most inventive and respected play-callers in coach Kyle Shanahan.

Sep 26 One year ago, an early-season injury to Saquon Barkley opened a door for Wayne Gallman, who answered the call at first, but strangely was buried on the bench for the final five games. Gallman could make the big leap from unexpected healthy inactive last week against the Bears to starter Sunday against the 49ers, with a final chance to make something promising of his Giants career before entering free agency.

Sep 25 When the Giants signed Blake Martinez in the offseason, they were hoping they would be getting the dominant, tackling machine that anchored the middle of the Packers defense for so many years. Through the first two weeks of the 2020 season, Martinez has lived up to the bill and then some.

Sep 24 The Giants are in a good news, bad news situation. The good: Wednesday, the Giants officially signed running back Devonta Freeman, a two-time Pro Bowler, to fill the void vacated by Saquon Barkley's season-ending injury. The bad: They also placed wide receiver Sterling Shepard on injured reserve. That means Shepard will be out for at least three weeks and now quarterback Daniel Jones will have to find ways to production without one of his favorite targets.

Sep 23 After losing Saquon Barkley for the season, the New York Giants signed running back Devonta Freeman to a one-year contract Wednesday. Financial terms were not disclosed, but agent Drew Rosenhaus told ESPN's Adam Schefter that the deal is worth up to $3 million. "Devonta turned down more money from other teams because he likes the opportunity with the Giants best," Rosenhaus told Schefter.

Sep 22 Saquon Barkley touched the football just 25 times before his 2020 season ended because of a torn right anterior cruciate ligament that will force him to undergo surgery and endure an arduous rehabilitation. Coach Joe Judge is confident his team will soldier on, remain focused and continue to improve. But he knows the offense will require some alteration without the running back who rushed for more than 1,000 yards in each of the previous two seasons.

Game 2 Preview - Giants (0-1) Chicago (1-0)
Last Sunday the Bears were trailing the Detroit Lions 23-6. They managed to come up with 21 points in the fourth quarter to take a 27-23 lead with less than two minutes left. They held off the Lions final drive, and came away with the win.
On Monday night the Giants took an early 10-3 lead over the Pittsburgh Steelers. They couldn't stop Pittsburgh from scoring 13 additional points by halftime, and 10 more in the fourth quarter. The Giants didn't score again until near the end of the game, and took a 26-16 loss.

Sep 20 As the dust cleared Monday night, into Tuesday morning, the Giants were bestowed a rare gift by most of their blue-tinted constituency: perspective. Most Giants fans believed the Steelers were the better team. Most have bought in, however reluctantly, to the notion of an extended rebuild. Most figured Monday to be a lost cause going in. So when the final score was 26-16 coming out, there was little rage, little fury, little anger directed anywhere. They'd looked respectable. They hadn't gotten throttled.

Sep 19 All signs pointed toward a breakout year for Giants tight end Evan Engram - until the first half of the season opener happened. A dropped pass at the first-down marker preceded a mistimed connection in the end zone and an offensive pass interference penalty. The dizzying spiral continued with a few blocking whiffs, and suddenly the preseason hype train driven by a return to health and explosive plays in practice was replaced by intense scrutiny.

Former Giants
Alex Tanney's NFL career on pause after release by New York Giants. The pause button has been pressed again on Alex Tanney's National Football League journey. There is no panic in that for the former Lexington High School and Monmouth College record-setting quarterback.

Sep 18 Saquon Barkley looks to elevate all facets of game. Saquon Barkley and his offensive coordinator today delivered figurative stiff arms in response to what has become the media's issue of the week regarding the Giants: the third-year running back's pass protection skills. Barkley said pass protection is just one point of emphasis in practice, because he continually works to elevate all facets of his game.

Sep 17 Despite turnovers, Giants' Joe Judge tells Daniel Jones: 'Stay aggressive'. The Giants have pinned their future on Jones developing into an elite quarterback, capable of returning the franchise to contention for Super Bowls, and so far he has shown plenty of promise.

Former Giants
Tiki Barber knows what it takes to get it done at the running back position in the NFL. After all, he is the Giants franchise leader in rushing yards. The man looking to take over that spot at the top, Saquon Barkley, is as electric as they come at the position. But Barber sees a big flaw in his game -- one that he believes doesn't make him an "every-down back. - He cannot pass protect."

Sep 16 Giants coach Joe Judge took the glass half full approach in talking about the offensive line. "I'm really pleased with how they played as a unit together. It was the first time they got to go in a competitive situation against a foreign opponent. so obviously a lot of different looks," Judge said. "I'm pleased with the way they competed." Judge said he believes the group, with three new starters including a rookie left tackle and a young, first-time center, will get better.

Giants-Steelers final score: Giants drop season opener, 26-16

Game 1 Preview - Giants (0-0) Steelers (0-0)
The last time these two teams played was Dec 4, 2016 at MetLife Stadium. Pittsburgh came away with a 24-14 win, but the Giants went on to finish the season with an 11-5 record under first year head coach Ben McAdoo. The Giants finished second in the division to the Dallas Cowboys, and then lost to the Green Bay Packers in their NFC wild-card game.
The Steelers also finished the season at 11-5, which put them first in their AFC North division. They went on to win their wildcard and divisional playoff games before losing in the conference championship game to the New England Patriots, who later went on to win Super Bowl LI in an overtime game with the Atlanta Falcons.

Sep 14 One of the most important jobs in football has not factored into the Giants' season-opening plans in 15 years. It matters now. More than ever. And it matters deeply to Colt McCoy to emerge on the other side of a difficult journey.

Sep 13 MetLife Stadium will be quiet to start this season, and at least for the foreseeable future, and it will not be because Big Blue and Green Green are losing. There will be no "J-E-T-S, Jets, Jets, Jets" chants. "Let's go Giants" will not be heard. Due to the novel coronavirus, the stands will be empty. But fans still plan to enjoy every game. The Post got the game plan from five different diehard Jets and Giants fans about their strategies to make the most out of their Sundays, Mondays and Thursdays this fall.

Sep 12 When Jason Garrett joined the Dallas Cowboys in 2007, he was given the title of offensive coordinator and the duty of calling the team's plays, neither of which he surrendered when he was named head coach midway through the 2010 season. Garrett continued to call plays until the end of the 2012 season, when he gave the job to a succession of coordinators - in order, Bill Callahan, Scott Linehan and Kellen Moore. This year, Garrett has returned to his roots, (he was a backup quarterback here from 2000-03). On Monday night, he will call plays in a game for the first time in almost eight years when the Giants host the Pittsburgh Steelers.

Sep 11 The firsts keep coming with Joe Judge running the New York Giants. This time he did something starting middle linebacker Blake Martinez had never seen in his first four NFL seasons when the first-year head coach had his team restart practice from the top some 25 minutes into the workout.

Sep 10 The Giants have become the polar opposite of what they were less than a decade ago. They are on their fifth head coach in six seasons, with their GM barely clinging to his job in just his third year. They have one winning season and one playoff berth in the last seven years and five seasons of double-digit losses in the last six. They are 12-36 - a .250 winning percentage - in the last three years alone. So why did John Mara say last week, "I feel good about the direction we're headed in right now?"

Giants co-owner and team president John Mara was open with his praise for Mike Tomlin three head coaching searches ago. When Tom Coughlin and the Giants parted ways after 12 years together, Mara acknowledged his desire to find someone like Tomlin, a young unknown assistant few talked about who turned out to be a Super Bowl-winning home run.

Sep 7 When Joe Judge steps on the field Monday, there before him on the grass, for better or worse, will be the 2020 Giants, as his first roster is formed and ready to prepare for the Steelers in the season opener. "All the players we kept on our 53 and our practice squad are guys we think give us versatility and have the ability to develop and keep shaping this roster in a positive way," Judge said Sunday, steering clear of the characterization that this is his team. "Really, this is our team, the New York Giants team."

Sep 6 Joe Judge, removes 28 players to reach the NFL regular-season limit of 53 players. The list included two quarterbacks (Cooper Rush and Alex Tanney), two players from the Giants' 2019 draft class (inside linebacker Ryan Connelly and defensive tackle Chris Slayton) and one from the 2020 class (cornerback Chris Williamson).

Sep 5 Camp is over, but work just begins. The Giants' most important work the next three days will not be on the football field but in offices and meetings rooms in the Quest Diagnostics Training Center. While the players will be off for the three-day Labor Day Weekend - except for their daily Covid-19 test - Dave Gettleman and Joe Judge must decide which players will comprise the team's initial 53-man roster and 16-player practice squad. They must remove 27 players from their roster to reach the limit by 4 p.m. Saturday (28 if defensive back Logan Ryan is added). The practice squad will be composed on Sunday

Breaking down where Giants stand as cut-down day nears. It is never easy to trim a roster from 90 to 53. The Giants have plenty of decisions to make heading into Saturday's cut-down day. Sep 4 Special Report - In the summer of 1961, John Mara was a ballboy for the Giants in training camp at Fairfield (Ct.) University. You may refer to that as learning from the ground up, since today he is the president and CEO of the team, son of Wellington Mara, grandson of Tim Mara, nephew of Jack Mara.
He is also partners with Steve Tisch, whose father, Bob, bought 50 percent of the franchise from one of John's cousins, the late Tim Mara Jr., in 1991. And Thursday, for the first time since January, he agreed to speak (via virtual attendance) to the media. There were a few take aways from his comments, and through it all he displayed the calm demeanor that has marked his long stay with the team in several capacities.

Sep 3 Dave Gettleman feels no pressure. The embattled third-year general manager of the Giants is brimming with confidence thanks to the hiring of new head coach Joe Judge, and quarterback Daniel Jones entering his second NFL season, after being chosen with the No. 6 overall pick in the 2019 NFL Draft. Rebuilding one of the league's most beleaguered offensive lines over the past three offseasons has resulted in adding a first-round rookie at left tackle, in Andrew Thomas, a third-round pick at left guard, in Will Hernandez, and one of the league's most talented right guards, in Kevin Zeitler.

Sep 2 Joe Judge deviated from his norm and spoke at length about a player who is not yet eligible to participate in a Giants practice. But Logan Ryan is no ordinary player. Judge and the Giants' newest acquisition were together in New England for the first four years of Ryan's career after the Patriots selected him in the third round of the 2013 NFL Draft. The eight-year pro is a talented, versatile and experienced defensive back who will upgrade the Giants' secondary the instant he steps on the field.

Sep 1 Logan Ryan's long period of unemployment is over. The veteran defensive back is signing a one-year, $7.5 million deal with the New York Giants, NFL Network Insider Ian Rapoport reported, per a source informed of the agreement.
