He is the author of 26 books and he is one of
only five sportswriters to have covered all the Super Bowls.

To say that this year's edition of the Giants is still a work in progress is probably understating the situation.

In the last two days, the personnel department has turned up two new offensive linemen -- Brandon Winey and Solomon Page -- and if nothing else, that offensive line is definitely a work in progress.

Funny, it was a work in progress last year at this time, too, and it failed. Now there are new people -- veteran free agents and a second round draft pick -- and still the line is the weak spot of the offense.
